About Foundation for Global Community Health
The Foundation for Global Community Health (GCH)

The Foundation of Global Community Health (GCH), founded in 2017, serves as an illustration of the ways in which changes can occur. The mission of this foundation is “To Improve Community Health and Wellness Worldwide by Promoting Physical, Social and Emotional Health and Safety through Evidenced and Culturally Relevant School-Based Intervention Strategies.”

To achieve this mission, in part, GCH is developing best practices regarding school-based well-being programs, provide peer-reviewed research, and bridge the resource gap preventing schools around the world from implementing research-validated programs.

GCH utilizes the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) framework developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and has implemented a school-based well-being program that daily reaches 2-3 million children in 70 plus countries. Over the next several years, GCH will expand solutions by develop new research programs, and promoting global participation that is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG 17) using the CDC WSCC model.
